SLOW FOOD MASTERCLASS: LARDER LESSONS 2

by Cafe St Honoré

SATURDAY 6 SEPTEMBER, 11AM, £25

Start Scottish Food Fortnight off on the right foot! Neil is returning with the second installment of Larder Lessons (he hosted the first one back in 2012!). Learn how to make the most of meat and game including making your own bacon. Get top tips on pickling and preserving all that veg and fruit from your garden (or your neighbours' gardens!). And discover how ancient grains can be incorporated into modern cooking.

There are lots of tasty tasters throughout the class and Neil is happy to answer questions as he goes along. After the class, enjoy a 2-course lunch with a glass of wine, beer or Cuddybridge apple juice.

Menu
Our Hot-smoked Loch Duart Salmon, Katy Rodger's Crème Fraîche, Toasted Oats
Petit Salé of Scotch Pork, Local Cabbage, Our Bacon, Buttery Mash
