It's the 700th anniversary of the Battle of Bannockburn this year and 20,000 people are expected to celebrate at Bannockburn Live on 28 and 29 June.
Earlier this month, first year pupils from St Thomas of Aquin’s High School in Edinburgh joined together in a theatrical and culinary tribute to the historic battle.
As a 2014 Food & Drink chef ambassador, Neil Forbes was there to help bring the 14th century to life, speaking about and cooking with the types of produce Bannockburn 'combatants' would have eaten in 1314. Produce like wild salmon, apples, barley, oats and kale, and of course the wild hog.
The full programme of events was announced today - looks like a magnificent weekend for warriors young and old!
