Neil talks about what it means to win CIS Sustainable Business of the Year 2014.

Organisers of the CIS Excellence Awards have released the first in a new series of films aimed at promoting the awards ahead of entries and nominations opening in January.

First to feature is our chef director Neil Forbes, who explains how the accolade has made a difference to him and the team at Cafe since picking up the Sustainable Business of the Year trophy in May.

Sponsored by Zero Waste Scotland, the Sustainable Business Award seeks to identify and celebrate businesses operating in Scotland which have implemented and made use of innovations such as renewable energy sources and biodegradable products while investing in new technology and equipment to minimise energy and water consumption.
